Voice of Teen Season One - Closing and Felicitation Programme - And a SURPRISE within

Voice of Teen organized a programme yesterday on 30th August, 2010 at Academy Hall, Kamaladi to make an announcement of Akanshya Basyal being winner from among the ladies.

The programme was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests including Senior Music personals Ruby Joshi, Subha Bahadur Sunam, Prakash Gurung, Kunti Moktan, Devika Bandana, Raju Singh, etc. And from Nepali Cinema there was Basundhara Bhusal. From Media were Pradeep Udaya (Buddha Television, Star FM) and Bharat Shakya (image group).

Akanshya was felicitated with a Hero Honda Pleasure Scotty from Hero Honda, and it was surprise.

Also several other individuals and organizations who supported the Hero Honda Voice of Teen season 1 from beginning to its completion were acknowledged. Some of them were.

b. Tshiring Bhutiya - Sound Engineer
c. Dhruba Adhikari - Meronepalma.com

And all the Top 5 contestants were felicitated including the judges and the crew members.

All the 5 contestants including Birendra Agrahari, a singer from Butwal showed their performances.

And finally it was marked with the official summing up of the First Season of Hero Honda Voice of Teen.

Voice of Teen - Final Results - Its BEDU SARU MAGAR

Finally, Hero Honda Voice of Teen has come up with the final results, and Bedu Saru Magar has been crowned with the first title winner of Hero Honda Voice of Teen - Season 1.

The Grand Finale was aired LIVE from Nepal Police Club covered hall (Exhibition Road) on 06th August, 2010 from Nepal Television and NTV-2. It started exactly at 4:00 PM and lasted up to 6:00 PM. It was witnessed by a mass of around 200-300 people including several distinguished guests from Nepalese Music Industry including -

• Premdhoj Pradhan
• Yadav Kharel
• Kunti Moktan
• Shila Bahadur Moktan
• Devika Bandana (Jury)
• Raju Singh (Jury)
• Komal Oli

And finally the details of results pronounced was follows. 

• Bedu Saru Magar as the Title Winner of Hero Honda Voice of Teen - Season 1
• Akanshya Basyal as the 1st Runner Up of Hero Honda Voice of Teen - Season 1
• Bikesh K Shankar as the 2nd Runner Up of Hero Honda Voice of Teen - Season 1. 

Right after the results declared, a chain of fans and friends of Bedu ran upto the stage to congratulate their star. Bedu set up the history. Hero Honda Voice of Teen, and Super A-One Media Pvt. Ltd. congratulates Bedu and all the runner ups including everyone participated in Voice of Teen and marked as the Top 12 Finalists for being a winner and wishes all good wishes for their musical career in future.

Right after Bedu was declared the winner, there was  a blast, a fall of flowers and bloom. And then there was 

1. Hero Honda Glamor Motorbike from Syakar, 
2. 5 Lakhs Music Contract from Music Nepal
3. 1 Lakh Cash Prize by Bishnu Gopal Shrestha
4. Full Scholarship by Triton International College
5. 1 Year Scholarship in Music Institute

Runner ups were awarded with 6 months of music training scholarships and full scholarship from Triton International College

16th July 2010 - Mango, Tango, Pango ... Top 5 Contestants Selected

By the end of today's episode three contestants get eliminated and Voice of Teen has top 5 contestants to move ahead with.

Contestants who could not make to the top 5 positions are

1. Anubhuti Gurung (Mango)
2. Samta Rai, and
3. Raj Kumar Pakhrin. 

Anubhuti was the lady of the episode for few times and was appreciated a lot by the judges. But her sweet smile could not make her go further. Similarly, Samta and Raj Kumar are also set to leave behind. Sorry to declare these, but as you all know it has to. Voting Voting Voting is all you can do to save your favorite and qualified contestants. We wish all good wishes for your future.

What happened every Minute ?

VOT is Back - 09th July 2010

10th July 2010,
We had decided to postpone the regular episodes for a period of time. And now we have returned back again. Voice of Teen is up with its regular episodes.

Elimination
Today's episode ended up with some mixed emotions. We must say it was somewhat very unexpected to have these contestants eliminated. Such contestants with a huge craze got eliminated due to reason of insufficient votes on their favor. Ashish being a popular contestant and Shristy being a talented one could not make their position on the top 8th positions. Bina and Shova weren't able to make their position on the top 8 too. Voice of Teen misses these talented voices and wishes every success in their coming days.

And VOT was with two great faces to get accompanied with the Jury panel. VOT must accept its overwhelmed emotions on having Satya Raj Acharya and Swaroop Raj Acharya to have their presence on the show as the guest judges.

Most of the contestants got mixed comments from the judges. Satya-Swaroop apperaed to be very much technical with the music and the contestants' performances. Almost all got strong comments however Anubuti got into top again. She got appreciation from all the judges. Everyone was overwhelmed by her performance. And, Suraj was at the second position in the line up of appreciations. All the best to all contestants for their coming week's performance and for their voting and national along with international craze.

What happened every minute

Voice of Teen postponed.

Finally we have come up with the decision to postpone the Voice of Teen regular episodes till the FIFA World Cup ends.

Because of the rising fever for FIFA World Cup 2010, and Voice of Teen being at the stage of decision to be made by the public we were having frequent requests to stop the voting and, to stop making any eliminations that the public voting is going to decide each week. And keeping a keen interest on people's perspective, we have decided to postpone the regular episodes of Hero Honda Voice of Teen (Season 1), till the end of World Cup 2010.

Hence, together with this announcement, it should be clear that the voting line is closed completely till next announcement. 

Next announcement will be made very soon, informing when will the programmes get continued.

We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience caused by this to all the valued viewers of Hero Honda Voice of Teen.

2nd July 2010, No Regular Episode again

Hmm, due to the high Worldcup Fever running throughout the country, Voice of Teen wasn't able to air its regular broadcast on 2nd July too. We feel your fever here on our side too. Because of that reason, we were compelled to re-broadcast the earlier episode. You can check the episode aired here.

18th June, 2010 - Wild Card Entry Results - Top 12 Round

Last week's episode was an episode for wildcard nominated contestants to present themselves and ask to vote to promote them to Top 12.

Voting line was up for the whole week, and Top 2 most voted contestants were given a chance to get promoted directly onto Top 12.

11th June, 2010 - Wildcard Nominees and the Voice of Teen Top 10 Song

Voice of teen is speeding up towards finding the first Voice of Teen. Top 10 finalists have already been selected some 2/3 weeks ago. And yesterday was an episode with a chance to be with the Wildcard Nominee Contestants. And even more, yesterday's episode was a episode to premier the Voice of Teen Top 10 Song on air for the first time.



The VOT Top 10 Song is written by Lyricist Dinesh Adhikari, composed by Music Director Raju Singh. Dinesh Adhikari, and Raju Singh remembered making of the song on yesterday's episode. As a lyricist, Dinesh Adhikari appreciates the music composed for the song he has given words to. He marks that the music has made the song, even more beautiful. Similarly Raju Singh explains how the song was composed and how rich is the song technically. Main challenge in the song was to make it go with the different voice quality, and vocal ranges of the contestants.

Hats off to both of you for this wonderful and landmark piece for the Nepalese Music Industry.

14th May, 2010 - Episode 29 - Top 25 Females (Elimination Round)

Hi,

You must have watched yesterday's (14th May 2010) episode of Voice of Teen. Well well, if you haven't I have just prepared a comprehensive summary of what happened yesterday.

Yesterday's episode was the first elimination round for Top 25 contestants where it was set up to eliminate 3 contestants out of 13 Female Contestants selected to be at the 25 toppers list.

Yesterday's episode was honored by Rima Gurung as a guest judge. Her presence was itself special, and I must say, she just made the episode even more special with her Rocking Performance with one of the contestants. Hmm! desperate to know hah! , no worries .. just go through everything has been revealed one by one.
